چکیده

Ectoparasites present a global challenge to animal health, affecting wide range of species. These parasites can infect both animals and humans, leading significant health issues. The impact ectoparasites extends beyond as they also reduce the productivity livestock. Moreover, many ectoparasite species act vectors for bacterial, viral, or parasitic pathogens, thereby posing risks human health. Historically, agents such organochlorides, organophosphates, carbamates, insect growth regulators, neonicotinoids, spinosad, fipronil, avermectins, isoxazolines, synthetic pyrethroids have been extensively used treat prevent ectoparasitic infestations. However, extensive use these chemicals has resulted in development resistance among target species, potentially reducing effectiveness treatments. This article aims survey current status active pharmaceutical ingredients veterinary medicine. It seeks update understanding mechanisms explore measures that be implemented resistance.
